Festival organisers to hold digital event to update the Black Country on the new application process
People are being encouraged to join a free digital event on 24 June at 2:30pm to find out how to get involved in the region’s biggest business event.
Black Country Business Festival (BCBF) is back from 4 to 15 October for its fourth year, to showcase what the region has to offer. It is a fortnight of events that are run by the local business community, with the aim of helping the region’s businesses with growth, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
Festival organisers are hosting a digital event on Thursday 24 June to discuss the various ways that local businesses can get involved with the BCBF. There will also be news on how the application process has changed this year, and the five new themes will be explained.
This introductory event is a great opportunity to find out how the Festival can help businesses to grow. It is a free digital event and registrations can be made via the website: www.blackcountrybusinessfestival.com
Corin Crane, CEO of Black Country Chamber of Commerce, is going to be chairing the event with Alister de Ternant from Associate Events, the Festival organisers. They will be discussing the benefits of getting involved with the Festival, and how it has helped the business community over the last few years. Becky Frall from West Midlands Growth Company will also be sharing her experience of hosting several outstanding events in last year’s programme.
Corin Crane, CEO of Black Country Chamber of Commerce, said “The BCBF has been great for local businesses over the last three years, and this year it is really going to help bring the community back together. There are so many ways to get involved with so many benefits. The event on 24 June is a great way to find out more about the Festival, the application process and the different engagement levels.”
Several events have already been accepted into the programme for this year, covering topics such as Net Zero emissions, recruitment, and procurement. Applications to host an event in the BCBF close on 13 August. Event slots are accepted on a first come, first served basis, so it is vital to submit applications as soon as possible to reserve your preferred space in the fortnight of events.
