One week left – Business Festival event applications close on Monday
Businesses have just a few more days to submit their application to run an event in the 2019 Black Country Business Festival.
The Business Festival, taking place from 13 to 24 May, is expected to comprise a total of more than 100 events, run by local businesses and organisations.
It is free to hold an event in the Festival and anyone can apply to do so. Events can be about anything so long as they help other companies or individuals to learn, develop or experience new aspects of business.
All applications must be made by completing a short form on the website, www.blackcountrybusinessfestival.com/apply by midnight on Monday 4 March.
Benefits to running an event could include making new contacts and sales leads, growing business networks and raising profiles locally, regionally and nationally.
Established by the Black Country Chamber of Commerce in 2018, the Business Festival helps business growth and puts a spotlight on the excellent culture, commerce and innovation that is present in the Black Country.
Chief executive, Corin Crane, said, “We’re already seeing a great programme forming with a wide range of free and exciting events ranging from inspiring Black Country businesswomen events, brand new factory showcases, expos and skills and recruitment workshops to events that support businesses in many ways including bid writing, public speaking, health & safety, marketing and communications, and lots more.
“There’s only a few more days left, so get those applications in now and don’t miss out on being part of the biggest business event in the region!”
The full calendar of events will be available in mid-March. Events are mostly free and open to anyone to attend. Tickets are also available on the website and must be reserved in advance.
