Tickets to Black Country Business Festival events go live

Free business events being held in the 2019 Black Country Business Festival are now live on the website and taking bookings to attend.

New events are being added all the time and the complete programme - expected to contain over 100 events, will be available in mid-March.

This exciting festival of business is back for a second year from 13 to 24 May with events taking place all over the Black Country during the fortnight. All run by local businesses and organisations, they aim to help other companies to learn, develop or experience new business aspects.

Anyone can apply to hold an event as part of the Business Festival and it can take any shape from a conference, seminar, expo or workshop to a demonstration of innovation or new product or a premises tour.

The Business Festival was established by the Black Country Chamber of Commerce with the aim of giving local businesses new opportunities to grow and develop. At the same time, the Festival is a great way of showcasing the fantastic commercial market and investment potential of the region.

In 2018, over 4,200 people attended Business Festival events of all sizes, subjects and descriptions and 91 per cent rated the events they attended as good to excellent.

Corin Crane, chief executive of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce said, “Last year was our first Business Festival and it was superb. There were over 120 outstanding business events which saw leading legal services gurus being especially flown in from overseas, massive business and careers expos, thought-provoking political and ethical debates, to business, marketing, sales, communications and leadership workshops and the Black Country also finding its best amateur comedians concealed in our business community!

“Tickets to attend this year are now available and all events are bookable on a first come first served basis.

“There’s also still a decent amount of time to submit applications to hold an event. I would encourage everyone to get involved as Business Festival is a great way of bringing in new leads, increasing exposure or raising your business profile. But the closing date to apply is not too far away, so don’t leave it until it’s too late.”

It is completely free to run an event in the Business Festival, but applications must be made before 4 March via the website, www.blackcountrybusinessfestival.com
