Black Country Business Festival Open House

With just under three weeks until the first Black Country Business Festival, a drop-in ‘open house’ session is being held on Thursday 12 April for people to go along to and ask any questions they might have about the Festival or their events.

The ‘open house’ is taking place at the Black Country Chamber of Commerce office (Creative Industries Centre, University of Wolverhampton Science Park, Glashier Drive, Wolverhampton WV10 9TG - sat nav postcode: WV10 9RU).

Organisers, Associate Events will be on hand from 11am until 3pm to offer help to any business or individuals about the first Business Festival to be held in the Black Country.

Alister de Ternant, managing director of Associate Events said, “This is a free, drop in session for anyone to come along and speak to us about anything to do with the Festival. There is no need to register, people should just pop down to the Science Park between 11am and 3pm.

“Ideally it would be great to be sitting there on our own all day - because that would mean that everyone is organised and ready to go! But if there are any questions, no matter how trivial they seem, we will be pleased to try and assist.”

Originated by the Black Country Chamber of Commerce and partnered by DY5 – Dudley’s Business & Innovation Enterprise Zone, the Business Festival will run from 23 April to 4 May. An amazing 122 events have been confirmed into the two-week programme, making it the biggest business event in the region.

Tickets to the Festival are available on the website (www.blackcountrybusinessfestival.com) and vast majority of events are completely free to attend.

There is everything from seminars, workshops, behind-the-scenes tours and speed networking events to conferences, exhibitions and round table debates in all sorts of subjects.

The Business Festival will bring the region together, enabling the local business community engage, share best practice and collaborate with each other on a completely new level and the opportunities to meet, partner and learn will be endless – helping the Black Country’s businesses to prosper, people to develop and the economy grow.
