Professional Services
The Black Country has a strong professional services sector, with over 8,800 businesses employing some 73,000 people.
Professional services businesses in the region have increased significantly over the last five years, leading to increased demand for business support services including both traditional office-based skills alongside newer growth industries including digital communications and marketing.

There are 185 high turnover (£1m+) businesses and 16 large businesses employing over 250 people, based in the area.

High profile employers in this sector include Talbots Law, Andrew Sykes Group; A & J Mucklow Group (the largest quoted investment property company in the Midlands) and Jonathan Lee Contracts (listed in the 1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain 2016).
Charter Court Financial Services was established in 2008 with 28 staff and now employs over 350 people. In 2016, it was ranked 10th in the Sunday Times Best 100 companies to work for. The company's Wolverhampton headquarters expansion is expected to see this number doubling over the next few years.
